Go super-small with this teeny smartphone

It's smaller than a credit card, but fully functional.

It’s a high crime that Apple discontinued the iPhone mini.

After years of using phablet-size iPhones, I picked up an iPhone mini 12 in 2020. I used it for a couple of years before switching to the iPhone 14 and then the 15 Pro, preferring their smaller screen sizes.

But I still miss the mini. I did not miss a bigger screen at all — that’s what an iPad is for. I loved the ease of one-handed use, the minimal pocket space and weight, and just how light and thin it was.

The iPhone mini may be no more, but you can pick up an even smaller phone that we currently have on sale for almost half price.

The NanoPhone is an Android handset that’s smaller than a credit card. It’s about the size of a tiny iPod nano, and it actually fits in your jeans’ change pocket, just like Steve Jobs once demoed.

It’s no iPhone Pro, but the NanoPhone can be a great first smartphone for kids, a backup device, or something to take to the gym, a run, a hiking trip, a vacation or any occasion when you want to leave your main phone at home.

The NanoPhone does most things a full-size phone can do — YouTube, social media, MP3s, etc. Plus, it works worldwide and plays nice with your AirPods or other Apple-centric accessories.

You’ll need a SIM card and phone/data plan, but you can get a cheap prepaid plan from carriers like Mint, Cricket or SpeedTalk, which offers a $5-a-month plan.

You might spot similar, cheaper phones on Amazon, but many appear to be restricted and will not work well in the United States.

Just be careful not to lose the NanoPhone because it’s so small.

P.S. I’m also a huge fan of pot, and I like the look of the products sold by our advertiser Mood Gummies (although the Hero Dose version sounds kinda intimidating 🤪).

A message from Mood Gummies

These cannabis gummies keep selling out in 2023

  • Mood is an online dispensary that has invented a “joint within a gummy” that’s extremely potent yet federally-legal.

  • Just 1 of their rapid onset THC gummies can get you feeling right within 5 minutes!

This smartphone is smaller than a credit card

Give your hands (and your pocket) a break with a tiny NanoPhone.

Fed up with gigantic smartphones? If even the iPhone mini seemed oversized to you, maybe you’ll appreciate an incredibly small smartphone like the NanoPhone. Smaller than a credit card, this tiny smartphone proves ideal for those moments when you need something extraordinarily compact, featherweight and fuss-free.

Whether you’re traveling light, hitting the gym or just getting tired of lugging around a bulky device, the NanoPhone is your streamlined solution to staying connected without the extra weight. And you can get this teensy smartphone for a small price: just $109.99 (marked down from $199.99).

Look how small this smartphone is

When Apple released the iPhone 6 Plus a decade ago, the phablet’s overwhelming success pretty much marked the end of reasonably sized smartphones. A small but vocal group of iPhone owners wanted something more pocket-friendly, and Apple responded with the iPhone 12 mini. Unfortunately for fans of small smartphones, the iPhone mini flopped.

Still, that doesn’t mean the small smartphone should go extinct. Sometimes you just want the basics: no frills, no giant screen, just a simple, reliable way to stay connected without carrying a brick in your pocket. If you want a big screen and impressive processing power, you can always spring for an iPhone 15 Pro Max. But if you want something compact, you should check out the NanoPhone. It really lives up to the name.

The NanoPhone is smaller than a credit card.

The NanoPhone measures 3.5 inches long and less than 2 inches wide. But don’t let its remarkably small size fool you. This tiny smartphone is fully functional and doesn’t skimp on performance.

Thanks to 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity, you’ll zip through browsing, streaming and staying connected on social apps like WhatsApp and Instagram, all while enjoying smooth, reliable performance. Plus, you can snap a selfie or capture video with the NanoPhone’s front- and rear-facing cameras.

Sorry, iPhone loyalists, this phone runs on Android 10. However, the overall look and feel of the NanoPhone is all iPhone — even if it’s about the size of a business card.

A great option for travelers looking to pare back

The NanoPhone seems especially well-positioned for travelers looking to lighten the load — or secure a backup phone in case you accidentally smash your iPhone or drop it in a river. Dual SIM support means you can separate your work and social life or juggle travel SIM cards on the road. And the NanoPhone’s durable construction makes this small smartphone a serious contender for your new favorite travel gear.

There’s even a microSD slot that allows for expandable storage. That means you can load up your little phone with movies and games for dull layovers and cozy comfort watching.

What’s in the box.
